Candidates are expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching in General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and/or Organic Chemistry within the Chemistry Department.  Instructional duties may include lectures, scheduled study and review sessions, and supervision of laboratory classes with or without teaching assistants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned undergraduate lecture and/or lab courses (up to 12 credit hours per semester)
• Serve as instructor and coordinate teaching assistants for general, analytical and/or organic chemistry lab courses

• M.S. from a college or university of recognized standing with major coursework in Chemistry or a closely related field
• Evidence of ability to teach effectively

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field
• At least 2 years prior experience teaching college-level chemistry courses

2. Curriculum vitae, including teaching history, a list of prior scholarly achievements, and a list of publications and presentations.
3. Names and contact information (including email addresses & phone numbers) of at least three professional references. At least one of these references should be your current or most recent supervisor or an acceptable substitute with close knowledge of your current academic program and/or teaching experience.
