Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Cancer Care Delivery Clinical Associate at University of Hawai'i Cancer Center in Honolulu, HI.
DUTIES: Supports health services research studies. Assists with the coordination of the day- to-day projects and serves as the main point-of-contact for the projects. Drives to project sites as necessary. Responsible for: 1) screening, recruiting, tracking and retaining participants (patient and public); 2) obtaining informed consents; 3) collecting data (i.e., administering tests and questionnaires following research protocol); and 4) data analysis and interpretation. Assists with the preparation and submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, annual progress reports, manuscripts, and grant proposals. Leads regular project meetings with Principal Investigator (PI) and research staff.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Public Health, Education, Nursing, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: One to three (1-3) years of research experience in settings involving health care. Experience includes overseeing staff for data collection and recruitment.
