Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing the basic physical care and nursing procedures, providing patients with comfort measures and maintaining a clean safe organized environment.
A typical day:
This is an acute patient care position. You would be responsible for maintaining safety, taking vital signs and blood glucose levels, supportive collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues, and activities of daily living to support health recovery, on a patient care unit under the direction of a registered nurse, charge nurse, and nurse manager.
The hospital is open 24/7 and weekends are required. The request is that you are available to work 4 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 4-week period. This roughly translates to every-other weekend potential. .
This is a full time, day shift position eligible for a sign on bonus.
Three 12-hour shifts per week. PTO and full benefits are offered.Dayshift is 6:45a.m. - 7:15 p.m.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Post High School Special Training preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License preferred
- BLS
