What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCESS SERVICES & TECHNICAL PROCESSING MANAGER position at University of Findlay?
The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a full-time access services & technical processing manager, responsible for managing the library’s access and resource sharing services including service desk operations; policies and procedures; supervision and training of student workers; interlibrary loan services in OCLC, and sharing of materials in OhioLINK. This position also performs copy cataloging and processing of library materials; and performs acquisition functions including communicating with vendors; processing invoices; and maintaining records.
A high school diploma is required, an associate’s degree preferred, with one or more years of library work experience. Minimal travel is expected to attend OPAL or OhioLINK meetings. A valid US Drivers’ license with a safe driving record is required.
