Major Responsibilities
- Investigate new approaches to searching for physics beyond the Standard Model including:
- New ideas for probing theoretically motivated dark matter candidates
- New probes of early universe cosmology
- Understanding constraints on new forces from structure formation
- Collaborate closely with research group members at Delaware and Johns Hopkins University, colleagues, and the supervisor to review and refine research strategies.
- Prepare and organize materials for research papers, author papers, and submit findings to scientific journals.
- Create presentations, posters, and materials for conferences and scientific meetings.
- Assist in the supervision and mentorship of graduate students.
- Support the evaluation and discussion of other research groups' work through analysis of published studies and conference presentations.
- Help shape and refine research goals within the group.
- PhD in Physics or related fields.
