The Campus Dining and Hospitality team at CU Boulder is currently accepting applications for a Campus Dining Attendant! Responsibilities
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Back of House (BOH) Production
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for recipes (entrees, starches, vegetables, and soups from raw state) using a variety of equipment and cooking techniques.
- Clean prep areas, equipment and dishes following proper sanitation method.
- Assist with setup, maintenance and breakdown of production and service areas.
- Set up and tend to drink, service lines, dish rooms, dining rooms and courtesy stands.
- Stock and replenishes service ware.
- Follow all sustainability and recycling procedures.
- Sanitize high contact surfaces.
- Follow set food safety guidelines.
- Follow all A9 labeling and ParTech procedures.
- Clean seating areas, furniture, floors and fixtures and attend the dish room.
- Serve on the food safety response team and responds to all food safety emergencies as appropriate to the work assignment.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Empowered to make decisions in areas within their span of control.
- Trains new staff members, both full time and student employees.
- Follows CDH uniform guidelines and personnel hygiene standards.
- Positions with Campus Dining & Hospitality at CU Boulder are subject to changes in campus location and shift schedule.
- This position is located 100% on campus.
- The annual salary for this position is $39,852.80.

What We Require
- 1 year of experience related to the job assignment. Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
- Must obtain food safety certification appropriate for the position level within 6 months of hire and maintain certification for the duration of employment with CDH.
- Ability to work in a fast paced team driven environment.
- One year of food services work experience.
