Job Summary: | The Contract Review Associate is a mid-level professional role within the CU Innovations faculty consulting contracting team. This position supports the review and processing of faculty consulting agreements and related contracts to ensure alignment with University policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Working under the supervision of senior staff, the Associate assists in reviewing agreements, preparing redlines, and coordinating with faculty and external partners. The role emphasizes developing a strong foundation in contract review and negotiation, while building skills in clear communication and process management.
The Contract Review Associate may also, under the direction of senior team members, assist with reviewing provisions that involve potential faculty intellectual property (IP).
This position requires attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple agreements in a deadline-driven environment, and strong customer service skills when working with faculty and stakeholders across campus.

Work Location: | Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $52,178- $80,000. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
