Structure
The Coordinator, Stewardship & Donor Experience is a non-exempt (hourly) position employed by the University of Cincinnati Foundation, reporting to the Executive Director, Donor Experience and Events.
Focus
The Coordinator, Stewardship & Donor Experience is responsible for collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and updating data in support of cultivation, recognition, and stewardship. The Coordinator is responsible for assessing and implementing the benefits associated with recognition societies and supporting the Stewardship and Donor Experience team and their partners in their development of meaningful experiences and engagement to advance the philanthropic goals of UC and UC Health.
Specific Duties
The anticipated starting hourly rate range for the Coordinator, Stewardship & Donor Experience role is $20.50 to $23.50. When determining final offer amount the UC Foundation considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.

Specific Duties
- Assist the Executive Director of Donor Experience and Events with recognition and engagement strategies for annual, lifetime, and planned giving donors.
- Assist with the implementation of central recognition programs and experiences, ensuring these activities meaningfully engage assigned units, and other collaborative projects.
- Audit and maintain constituent records in our CRM pertaining to recognition status, recognition preferences, recognition changes, working with the Information & Enterprise Risk team to address any issues with data and reporting.
- Ensure recognition acknowledgements are updated annually and are sent out in a timely manner.
- Assist with maintaining and updating individual stewardship plans in our CRM.
- Working with internal partners, support the auditing and maintenance of data related to scholarship and impact reporting.
- Manage communications through the general Stewardship and Donor Experience email and phone number.
- Maintain and update as needed the internal Stewardship and Donor Experience intranet page for internal partners.
- Manage team inventory of premium items to be utilized as cultivation, stewardship, and engagement with donors and prospects.
- Assist Stewardship and Donor Experience team strategies that communicate impact to donors.
- Assist with events that support UC and UC Health donor stewardship and fundraising initiatives.
- Form strong working relationships with internal and external partners related to fulfilling recognition benefits including but not limited to parking, event invitations, and inclusion in touchpoints.
- Work collaboratively with partners to create consistent, best-in-class donor recognition.
- Assist with team budgets including check requests, purchase orders, and contract approval.
- Fulfill team requirements on reporting and supporting organizational and performance-based goals.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least 1 year of professional experience or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Prior experience with event planning, nonprofit, or higher education experience preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to handle, update, and maintain sensitive information in a confidential, timely, and professional manner.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail; excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to interact in a courteous, positive, professional, and timely manner with diverse internal and external constituents and foster strong, productive relationships.
- Ability to prioritize effectively to meet multiple competing deadlines.
- Able to work non-traditional, flexible hours, as needed for events, including evenings, weekends and travel when needed. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required for travel.
