Overview:
The College of Liberal Arts seeks qualified instructors interested in teaching 1, 2, and 3 credit hour courses on leadership. Courses include topics such as leadership theories, leadership in ethics, business ethics, ethics in public service, group dynamics, leadership communication and many others. Instructors are responsible for course delivery, grading, and facilitating student engagement in on-campus classes.
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in alignment with approved syllabus objectives and curriculum.
- Foster an interactive learning environment through classroom discussions, case studies, and practical exercises.
- Evaluate student assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive and timely feedback.
- Maintain regular communication with students.
- Adhere to university academic policies, grading deadlines, and administrative procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Leadership, Organizational Development, Communication, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: 2 years of professional leadership, management, or executive experience in corporate, non-profit, or governmental sectors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
