Description
As a student worker in the Office of Human Resources, you will gain real-world experience assisting the HR team and colleagues across campus. In this position, you will assist with office duties in Human Resources such as:
- Greet office guests
- Answer office phones
- Process confidential paperwork

Examples of Duties
This position will assist the HR personnel with items including, but not limited to:
- Assisting all new employees with their new hire paperwork, including remote I-9 sessions.
- Data entry into UCM’s HRIS system.
- Serving as a customer service rep that will greet and assist in person and telephone customers.
- Completing verifications of employment both over the phone and on paper.
- Assisting Senior Strategic HR Partners with tasks.
- Scanning forms.
- Filing, Indexing, and Shredding
- Work during the summer as well as the school year.
- Professional appearance
Typical Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience preferred
- Reliability is a must
- Punctuality
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Supplemental Information
Working Hours and Days:
- M-F, up to 20 hours per week,
- up to 40 hours over breaks
