Job DescriptionWorks closely with the ECG Lab staff in the accomplishment of the Adult ECG/Cardiac Stress Laboratory objectives. Edits ECGs for clerical correctness and maintains familiarity of the GE MUSE archive system. Performs and downloads 12-lead ECGâs using the currently available UCSF standard ECG machine. When working at the Mount Zion and/or Parnassus Campus: Provides Holter hook-ups and downloads. Provides event monitor hook-ups, device registration into 3rd party vendor websites, and preliminary report retrieval from those website. Performs ambulatory blood pressure monitoring hook-up, download, and report preparation.Â
Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Trained in performing 12 lead ECGs. - High School graduation. - Completion of an Electrocardiogram Technician Training (CVT) program or equivalent. - Three to five yearsâ experience in a hospital or healthcare position.
