ACADEMIC POSITION

Assistant, Associate, Full Level
The University of California, San Francisco, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting for a Physiatrist with experience in adult inpatient consults, inpatient adult acute rehabilitation unit, and general physiatry outpatient clinic in an academic or multispecialty setting. The selected candidate will be appointed to the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank of the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence faculty series.
This position may be based in San Francisco and other specialty locations. The selected candidate will participate in clinical care activities at our inpatient and outpatient facilities. The selected candidate will be expected to collaborate in clinical and/or basic research as well as publish subsequent results in peer reviewed journals.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 The minimum base salary for this position is $154,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. As such, the total negotiated salary (including base and negotiated components) can be significantly higher and can range up to $1,500,000 depending on individual qualifications, clinical productivity, and other factors assessed at the time of offer.

- A valid California medical license
- MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
- Completed an accredited Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program
- Board certified or eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Applicant’s materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission
