Adjunct Professor Position – Department of Anatomy
The Department of Anatomy is seeking an Assistant Adjunct Professor for a full-time faculty position. Faculty in the Adjunct Professor series are individuals who are predominantly engaged in research or other creative work and who participate in teaching, or individuals who contribute primarily to teaching and have a limited responsibility for research or other creative work; these individuals may be professional practitioners of appropriate distinction. The position will require experience coordinating complex Human Anatomy curricula, including: gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, histology, and/or embryology teaching in lecture, small group, and laboratory formats. Documented excellence in teaching and experience in cadaveric dissection is required. Appointees with titles in this series also engage in University and public service consistent with their assignments.
Requirements
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 The minimum base salary range for this position is $121,900 - $157,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Requirements
- PhD, MD, EdD or equivalent academic doctoral degree at the time of hire.
- Experience in curriculum development, laboratory teaching, and large and small group facilitation in integrated courses for students in professional healthcare programs (e.g., medical, dental, pharmacy, physical therapy) and medical residents.
- Experience in complete donor body dissection.
- Documented excellence in teaching and experience in cadaveric dissection
- Experience coordinating complex Human Anatomy curricula, including: gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, histology, and/or embryology teaching in lecture, small group, and laboratory formats.
- Scholarly experience (e.g., educational or anatomical research).
