This unit serves adolescents between the ages of 11 and 17 who cannot be safe in their community. The unit offers a therapeutic environment for the treatment of patients whose emotional problems are impacting their safety, psychological, educational, and social functioning.

Individualized treatment focuses on helping each person maintain a plan for safety outside of the hospital setting. Treatment focuses on resolution of the immediate crisis that brought the adolescent to Unit.

We treat a full range of behavioral and emotional disorders seen in teenagers including; mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, thought disorders, anxiety disorders, as well as behaviors and emotions complicated by alcohol and drug use.
