Position Overview The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Services Advisor to support graduate students in the Computer Engineering (CEN), Robotics, and Computational Data Science (CPDS) programs. This role plays a vital part in enhancing student success through advising, admissions, enrollment, and program support.
What You'll Do As the Student Services Advisor, you will: *Empower students by providing personalized academic advising, helping them navigate their path to success. *Drive recruitment and outreach efforts that bring top talent to our programs and showcase what makes BCOE exceptional. *Manage enrollment and scheduling, ensuring students have access to the courses they need to thrive. *Own key resources like student handbooks and program websites, keeping information fresh, accurate, and accessible. *Make an impact by supporting curriculum updates, accreditation efforts, and events that build community and celebrate student achievements. *Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to deliver seamless, student-centered support.
The full salary range for the Student Services Advisor position is $51,594.48 - $87,006.96 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $51,594.48 - $75,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
