The Procurement Supervisor plays a vital leadership role within the BMP Administrative Unit, overseeing all procurement, travel, and inventory functions that support four research-intensive academic departments and affiliated research centers. This position is responsible for supervising a team of procurement and travel professionals, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of customer service to faculty, staff, and research personnel. The Procurement Supervisor serves as the primary subject matter expert for complex purchasing activities, including high-value equipment orders, custom lab supplies, and contract agreements. In addition to overseeing daily operations, the role provides training, performance feedback, and procedural guidance to staff, supports fiscal year-end reconciliation, and maintains inventory records for over 800 tagged assets. This position is critical to the continuity and efficiency of financial and operational support.
The full salary range for the Procurement Supervisor is $78,200.00 - $141,400.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $78,200.00 - $93,275.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
