What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at University of California - Riverside?
Reporting to the Recycling and Refuse Supervisor, the Laborer performs a variety of duties such as: assembles, relocates, and dismantles furnishings, equipment, materials, temporary structures, and stages for special events or maintenance jobs. This position assists the UCR Transfer Station by emptying refuse and recycle bins, sweeping the area surrounding the bins, and removing litter. May assist other Facilities Services units with general housekeeping or tasks based on operational needs. May work independently or as a part of a team in assigned work areas. Performs all job duties in adherence to University and departmental safety guidelines. Maintains a positive attitude and communicates effectively with colleagues, supervisors, staff, faculty, and students.
The full salary range for the Laborer is $20.05 - $27.51 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
