Position Summary
UCLA Development seeks a visionary Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC), Development to guide us into our philanthropic future. In this high-impact leadership role you will manage the strategic fundraising that powers one of the world's most prestigious public institutions. Reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor for External Affairs, as the AVC of UCLA's Development team, you will be part of the senior leadership committee made up of Development, Alumni Affairs, Government & Community Relations and Advancement Services. You will oversee fundraising for the areas of: Individual Giving, Gift Planning, Foundation Relations & Corporate Philanthropy, Scholarships & Student Support Initiatives, Professional Schools, the UCLA College, International Institute and UCLA Extension. As a role defined by breadth, depth and institutional significance, you will champion innovation through oversight of sophisticated donor engagement programs, leveraging data analytics, creative content, and world-class events to deepen UCLA's connection with global supporters. You will build bridges by serving as a primary liaison and fostering high-level relationships with our most dedicated philanthropic partners; and will work collaboratively across EA and campus-wide leadership to ensure a unified voice for UCLA. As a master strategist and expert fundraiser with a penchant for complexity, orchestrating excellence and designing and executing sophisticated, campus-wide campaigns that translate UCLA's boldest ideas into reality, we welcome your abilities to think big, your unrivaled expertise in leading multi-million- and billion-dollar campaigns and acumen in navigating the nuances within a premier research university. Salary & Compensation
*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
