Reporting to the Pharmacy supervisor and Pharmacy Research Manager, you will perform various pharmacist functionspertainingto investigational drugs and clinical research. Some of these functions include:
- Conduct all protocol-related duties including: study set-up, drug dispensation, study monitoring, close-out activities
- Perform medication dispensing activities to deliver outstanding patient care
- Support the Pharmacy Supervisor in ensuring compliance to rules, policies and regulations
- Oversee support staff
- Cultivate and model professional, collaborative relationship with pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving and organizational skills
- Adapt to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment
- Advance a patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and commitment

Schedule: Varied shifts, depending on department needs (Monday-Friday). Required to have the ability to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health.
Hourly Salary Range: $90.16-$105.61
Bargaining Unit: HX-UPTE
We're seeking a strong, independent clinical leader with current California Pharmacy licensure, a PharmD degree and:
- Strongcommunication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
- Knowledge of clinical trials and investigational drug services
- Knowledge of good clinical practice and human subjects protection
- Knowledge in oncology and/or Board Certification preferred
- Experience in IV Medication Compounding preferred
- Required to have the ability to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health
