- Strong working knowledge of medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided, with the ability to oversee accurate verification, billing, and charge reconciliation processes.
- Proficient in Epic CareConnect, including appointment scheduling and charge worklist maintenance (REQUIRED).
- Proven supervisory and team-building experience, with the ability to mentor staff, set priorities, and ensure efficient suite operations.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, monitor clinician schedules, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to triage patient concerns, elicit relevant clinical information, and assign appropriately based on established protocols.
- Skilled in diplomatic and professional communication with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
