Emergency Medicine
Responsibilities
The Staff Physician will primarily provide services at the Emergency Department at UCI Health-Orange. Staff Physician will provide both patient care and resident attending coverage when residents are present. Staff Physician is expected to comply with all compliance standards, complete all required trainings, and follow proper documentation process to meet the standards of the Compliance Office and Medicare regulations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O.
- California Medical License/California Medical License eligibility
- An active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
- Ability to obtain UCI medical staff privileges
- Board certification/board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
