Job Summary

This physician will have 9 half day clinics a week and a Saturday clinic once a month. In addition, they will do some inpatient consult service.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of California.
  • Must be board certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Must be board certified in Rheumatology.
  • Must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • No Minimum Work Experience required
  • Applicants should be skilled in the use of biological therapy and the ACR Guidelines for their usage as well as an understanding of potential drug interactions.
  • A strong record of clinical care in the management of soft tissue rheumatism as well as autoimmune diseases, to provide excellent clinical care.
  • Experience in or ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required.

The Department of Internal Medicine is the largest department in the School of Medicine,
with 13 subspecialty divisions. This physician will work in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Clinical Immunology as a Rheumatologist at the Folsom CPG location.
