The Division of Arts and Humanities at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a pool of outstanding lecturers to teach Digital Humanities using data science tools to teach online courses in the Digital Humanities Summer Minor.
In addition to instruction, general duties include holding office hours, developing syllabi and assignments, writing and grading exams, and grading and commenting on papers. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Please see our website for more information on the currently taught online courses.
Specifically, we are looking for lecturers for the following courses in our program:
- DIGHUM 100: Theory and Method in the Digital Humanities
- DIGHUM 101: Python Programming for Digital Humanities
- DIGHUM 160: Critical Digital Humanities
- Course In Development: Ethical AI and the Digital Humanities

Master's degree (or equivalent degree).
Topics vary, and a background in digital humanities and the relevant field is strongly preferred. College level teaching experience in the relevant field is also preferred.

Salary : $70,977 - $82,284
