Summary of Job Duties:
The Graduate Assistant (9-month) for the Office of Student Accountability (OSA) supports the mission of the office by serving as an integral member of the team. The Graduate Assistant serves as a hearing officer, facilitating educational conversations, informal resolutions, and adjudicating violations of the Code of Student Life. The Graduate Assistant supports the student process advocate program by facilitating training and coordinating assignments. The Graduate Assistant will collaborate with professional staff and students to support conduct investigations and contribute to the development and growth of educational initiatives offered through the office.
This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
This position will develop UA Career-Ready Skills such as Communication, Professionalism, and Perspective Awareness.
