Minimum Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree with a business/food service-related field plus 4 years of experience in hospital food service, catering, or hospitality industry is required OR
HS plus 8 years ofexperience in hospital food service, catering, or hospitality industry is required. Culinary arts management experience is desirable.
- Culinary/Dietary/Nutrition Knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors in culinary science from accredited university.
- Certified Dietary Manager preferredSERV Safe preferred

Responsibilities:
- Produce quality food and ensures that customer service standards are met. Uses food production techniques that conserve nutrients and preserve flavor. staff completes in-services/annual requirements, and all employees are following the Joint Commission and Health department rules/regulations*
- Meets weekly with department managers in fulfilling menus for special events for cafeteria and in all retail outlets and patient food services
- Collaborating and communication with fellow supervisors on needs for the job.
- Train on customer service and customer satisfaction through production and quality of food prepared; health department rules/regulations; The Joint Commission and Health Department standards; batch cooking and recipes; food safety; and sanitation.Regularly inspects facility for cleanliness, safety and maintenance needs.
