Summary of Job Duties:
Advise, register, and enroll students from area high schools in WATC programs of study on the UAFS campus and all satellite campuses
Address academic alerts for WATC students through the campus systems and address student academic concerns/inquiries from parents, counselors, and instructors
Coordinate recruitment activities with all area high schools for the WATC program
Assist in communication of program/student information to partner school districts, students, and parents/guardians
Coordinate student login and ID dissemination
Assist in coordination of industry certifications/exams for WATC students
Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to foster teamwork and by providing leadership to subordinates.
Requires consistent on-time attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and/or Work Experience: Bachelor's degree and three years related work experience in a higher education or public school setting working with juniors and seniors. Experience in a secondary technical center would be a plus. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements.
Preferred Education and/or Work Experience: Master's degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: To perform the job successfully, the following competencies are required for the essential functions of this position:
Ability to work in a technological environment demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as the student information system.
