- High school diploma; plus, two years of experience in certified law enforcement or a related field.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Current and valid Arkansas driver's license.
- Certified by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards Training Academy as a Police Officer.
- Able to pass a medical physical examination.
- Able to pass a psychological examination.
- Ability to walk 8 to 12 miles in an 8-to-12-hour shift.
- Ability to climb stairwells.
- Ability to communicate and maintain a good rapport with the campus population.
- Engages in and maintains control of situations/persons through use of minimal force needed in required situations.
