Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's in Nursing plus three (3) years of nursing experience
- Valid Arkansas RN license
- EPIC and Electronic health information systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Nursing plus one (1) year of experience
- Transplant experience
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality or performance improvement, with the ability to track, trend, and analyze large, complex data sets.
- Proficient in data management, interpretation, and translating findings into actionable items to support quality and regulatory initiatives.
Additional Information:
Responsibilities:
- Participates in planning and implementing systematic processes to improve the quality and safety of patient care, and operational effectiveness of the program
- Oversee the maintenance of the OPTN data entry system for transplant centers
- Reviews medical records, including reviews of documentation required for UNOS and CMS
- Assists and contributes to the Transplant Institute leaders and staff to assure continuous survey readiness with policy and procedure development, review and revision, mock survey drills, and ongoing education
- Develop and maintain transplant statistical data and perform outcome monitoring in coordination with the Quality Director for the transplant department.
- Assists in maintaining compliance with requirements of external agencies in the area of quality and accreditation surveys/inspections, specifically those related to Transplant, The Joint Commission, CMS, UNOS, and the ESRD Network.
