Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read and Write
• High School, GED or formal educational equivalent
• Graduate of an approved Radiology program
• New graduate or less than 1 year experience.

Preferred Qualification:

• Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained prior to start date. CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist must be obtained by 11/1/2020 (current employee) or within 12 months from date of hire (RAD.AD.1.14).

Job Responsibilities:

• Document patient information, scan parameters, and contrast usage accurately.

• Enter data into PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System).

• Maintain accurate records of procedures, imaging results, and patient interactions.

• Follow hospital or clinic protocols as well as state and federal regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ACR).

• Participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education.

• Provides patient care, including coordination of patient preparation and scans. Communicates with patients and their physicians about exam information and results.

• Performs other duties as needed.
