Data Analyst - College of Medicine, Tucson

This position serves as a subject matter expert in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting for the College of Medicine – Tucson. Drawing on a strong understanding of college business processes and institutional data sources, including UAccess systems and UAccess Analytics, the incumbent plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence dashboards, reports, analytical datasets, and COM-T databases and data warehouse resources. This position transforms complex data into reliable, actionable information that supports strategic planning, performance assessment, and operational improvement across education, research, clinical operations, and administration. Working closely with college stakeholders, data owners, and university partner teams, the analyst translates business needs into analytical solutions, integrates and validates data from multiple systems, and identifies trends and opportunities to improve processes and decision-making. This position also supports reporting and data needs associated with UAccess Analytics and other university systems while promoting consistent definitions, data quality, and responsible data use. This role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, highly visible environment, responding with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and delivering dependable results.
