The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice invites applications for a full‐time instructor to begin August 16, 2026.

Standard responsibilities include teaching and some department service associated with advising. The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice has a growing faculty and strong Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degree programs. At the undergraduate level, the department's mission is to equip students to think critically about the causes and consequences of crime and deviance; about evolving issues in the field of criminal justice; about the potential of empirical research to help guide policy development; and about the role social organization plays in the development of knowledge. Minimum Qualifications

Candidates with a Master's degree or J.D. are fully eligible, but a Ph.D. in a social science discipline related to the study of crime and justice will receive extra consideration. The ideal candidate will be able to teach a range of undergraduate courses in our Criminology & Criminal Justice major and/or our Cyber Criminology minor.
