Depending on the research focus, this position may involve research collaborator contact, research animal contact, and/or specimens.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts research for the Basu laboratory using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and other high level laboratory techniques/skills to promote success of various research grants.
- Oversees projects within the laboratory and assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operation of lab activities.
- Collects, enters, summarizes, analyzes and interprets research data. Monitors results, detects and reports unusual outcomes, develops modifications and provides data to the PI.
- Helps with grant proposals and assists in the preparation and editing of grant applications.
- Supervises lab equipment and supplies.
- Uses advanced knowledge of lab practices to direct and teach others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
