Entry-level Systems Engineering position for UAB's Engineering and Innovative Technology Development (EITD) group.Assist with providing flight operations support of payload systems for space applications. Develop system-level documents and assist with functional and verification testing for complex engineering hardware and devices.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Assists in development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
- Support meetings, teleconferences, and travel as required by projects.
- Travel to support testing and launch/return activities
- Reports to EITD Systems Engineering Section Lead
- Performs simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques.
- Assists more senior engineers in the preparation of plans, data analysis, and reports.
- May be required to work nights and weekends, as necessary, to support real time flight operations.Travel to support testing and launch/return activities for approx. 7-day periods, 5-10 trips per year possible.
