General Responsibilities
- To administratively manage one or more program/s within the School of Medicine (SOM).
- To independently design, develop and administer program content for the assigned program.
- To establish program objectives, maintain policies and procedures, serve as liaison between the program and internal/external stakeholders.
- To provide administrative support to faculty, staff, students and the outside community.
- To manage assigned program fiscal operations, develop and provide reports and/or analyses.
- Serves as the administrative point of contact for the assigned SOM program and works with other staff, faculty, students or external stakeholders as needed.
- Serves as liaison between the SOM program and external stakeholders.
- Maintains programmatic policy and procedures, coordinates general operations and develops and/or monitors program expenditures to ensure budgetary compliance. Maintains appropriate documentation, records and files for assigned SOM program as required by the program, department or regulatory agency.
- Manages the data collection and analysis for the assigned program. Develops financial analyses upon request and prepares financial reports for program review.
- May be responsible for event planning.
- May support the recruitment and retention process of both faculty and staff in the department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required.
