Job Description
The Pediatrician will provide direct care in an outpatient setting to a diverse patient population, including individuals with chronic illness and medical complexity. Our team also cares for newborns in the well-baby nursery at Huntsville Hospital with shared call. Academic responsibilities include teaching and supervising medical students and family practice residents in the clinical setting, as well as delivering lectures. Evaluate leaners and participate in scholarly activities.
Required Qualifications
Must have a MD/DO degree, board certified/eligible in Pediatrics, and proven clinical expertise. Must qualify for Alabama licensure, medical staff privileges at Huntsville Hospital, and provider credentialing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in academic medicine and a love of teaching.
