The Role:
The Digital Production degree prepares students to become creative technologists who work behind the scenes to bring images to life. The University of Advancing Technology is looking for an industry professional to take on the role of developing and delivering digital content production courses that ensure UAT students achieve their desired learning outcomes, complete their programs, and have an exceptional SyncFlex learning experience. We are interested in candidates who have demonstrated excellence in digital content production, professional industry experience, and a commitment to building an active and guided scholarly environment.
Skills
- Experienced with producing complete, industry-standard web, social, and print projects.
- Experience using industry-standard content creation and editing tools and techniques to create complete works.
- Demonstrated excellence using various media mediums and make pre-production and production decisions matching content tools (cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, digital creation software, etc.) to the intended result.
- Demonstrated professional knowledge of current and future camerawork, composition, effects, and lighting techniques.
- Experience generating high-quality mixed audio, including dialogue, sound effects, and music, by recording, editing, and integrating it into complete digital film, agency, web, and/or interactive media productions.
- Experienced in various roles of field production, such as editing, color correction, and color grading, to create media projects using industry-standard post-production tools.
- Experience assembling composite shots using industry-standard tools and techniques as well as future trend editing tools to create completed work.
- Experience composing visuals that exhibit professional quality in camerawork, composition, effects, and lighting techniques.

Essential Duties:
- Facilitation of innovative student digital production projects
- Mentoring talented, passionate, technology-driven students
- Development and delivery of collegiate learning experiences related to digital production and content creation.
- Development of course materials related to college-level digital production courses.
Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Digital Production or a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in digital production required; Doctoral Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience

Important Notes:
Location Requirements: This is not a remote position; candidates must be willing to work in-person at the campus in Tempe, AZ
Adjunct Pay: $3,000 for in-person courses; $2,400 for hybrid/online courses.
Part-Time Salary: $30k-$45k dependent on Education and Experience.
Full-Time Salary Benefits: $60k-$90k dependent on Education and Experience.
