- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to review and understand ICD-10 and Abbreviated Injury Score (AIS) coding.
- Ability to review and understand medical terminology and extract medical information from both electronic and paper medical records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Window applications to include word, excel and power point.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and strong proficiency with attention to details.
- Must be reliable, dependable and able to initiate and complete projects of moderate complexity with limited supervision.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
- Ability to analyze data abstracted from trauma registry and collaborate use for Trauma Programs performance improvement initiatives.
