Skills
One year of professional experience in social work is preferred, preferably in a hospital setting.
License/Registration/Certification
Social Work License (LBSW/LMSW) in the state of Texas is required.
Education And Training
Bachelor or Master degree in Social Work is required.

- Skilled in areas of communication at various patient, family, hospital, and community levels, and the use of skills in rapport establishment, engagement of the patient and family members, focusing, negotiation, conflict mediation, facilitator and advocacy within a patient, family, and Care Team centered approach to care in an acute care setting - a bio-psychosocial perspective to patient care.
