University Instructors is recruiting for placement of English and Math Tutors in Richmond, VA . As our Instructor you will assist elementary and middle school students in building sustained basic math, reading, and English skills using the districts curriculum. You will work one-to-one or small groups with students in a push-in/pull-out model.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist lead teacher by working with small groups in Math and English comprehension
- Re-teach strands students are struggling with
- Offer targeted assistance in order to achieve measurable gains
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields
- Pre-employment testing required for all Algebra Tutors (if needed)
