Description
A Brief Overview
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. This position is located in the Streetsboro clinic.

Qualifications
Education
- Other Accredited Program: Completion of accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program. (Required)
Work Experience
- 2 years Nursing Experience (Level II only) (Required)
- 1 year of Nursing experince preferred
This is a full time, day shift position - 4 day work week / rotating day off. Must be available - M-F.
Candidate will be trained to work in the hyperbaric oxygen unit.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio board of nursing. (Required proficiency)
- Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices) (Required proficiency)
- Level II Only: 18 CNE's per year. • 3 CNE’s in clinical specialty • At least 5 CNE’s in Leadership • Other CNE requirements will be agreed upon with manager
- Level II Only: • 3 Peer Reviews. • Committee Involvement. • 5 criteria with evidence of each.
Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire) or must be obtained during nursing orientation
