Leads the process for identifying, creating, validating, testing and implementing oncology protocols for assigned disease teams. This position will be a key team member for ensuring change management and clinical end user adoption of new and updated chemo protocols.
What You Will Do- Leads the process for identifying, creating, validating, testing and implementing oncology protocols for assigned disease teams.
- Works in conjunction with Disease Team Leaders and Information Technology team to prioritize protocol requests and ensure regular review and updates of existing protocols.
- Maintains an extensive understanding of AEMR applications and related clinical systems capabilities, and a detailed understanding of the AEMR functionality, and is able to apply that knowledge to properly respond to workflow situations.
- Develops and maintains key relationships with all stakeholders engaged in the chemo prescribing and administration processes
- Participates in Quality improvement activities as directed by CMO. Provides guidance and clinical adoption advice as necessary.
- Provides training and individual user support as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.

- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
