DescriptionWhat You Will Do
- This position contributes to the Center for Human Genetics Laboratory through:
   ◦ Develop and perform complex methods of genetic analysis, problem solving, and interpretation of diagnostic laboratory results.
   ◦ Trouble shooting and problem-solving directed toward laboratory methods that are not working properly.
   ◦ Test development of new clinical protocols.
   ◦ Participate in interpretation of test results and preparation of reports under supervision of lab director.
   ◦ Understand principles of laboratory information systems and data integrity.
   ◦ Review and participate in laboratory proficiency and regulatory certifications, biological, chemical, and radiation safety training and maintenance standards, laboratory inventory, record keeping, and compliance with HIPPA regulations. - This position leads to qualification for certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics in one or more areas of Clinical Laboratory Genetics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary : $63,898 - $78,603
