Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent training; or successful completion of the Cardiovascular Technologist Internship Program within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Department. What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab).
- Perform scrub duties during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Monitor and record hemodynamic and physiological patient data throughout procedures.
- Prepare the procedure room, including equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Set up and maintain the procedure table and related equipment.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses during Cath Lab procedures.
- Ensure procedural areas and equipment are ready and functioning properly.
- Carry out duties under the direction and supervision of a physician and registered nurse.
What You’ll Bring
- Cardiac hemodynamic monitoring
- Physiologic monitoring
- Providing first-line sterile assistance during diagnostic and/or interventional cardiac procedures
- CVT (Cardiovascular Technician) or RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist) certification is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
