About the Role
The Medical Technologist, Microbiology position is to independently perform routine and complex laboratory analyses; assumes responsibility for procedural and system controls, problem solving, teaching and supervision, under direction. Provides physicians with accurate and reliable analytical results necessary for the diagnosis/treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Performs patient tests and provides results to physicians; performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of laboratory analyses scheduled by Supervisor
- Performs established Quality Control procedures
- Maintains professional composure in the workplace
- Organizes work process to accommodate patients needs
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field
- ASCP certification or equivalent preferred
- American Society for Clinical Pathologist for those possessing the certification

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)
The expected hourly range for this position is [$33.97– $48.50] per year, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
