About the Role
The primary purpose of the Cook position is to prepare quality food for Patient and Retail Services, in a timely, cost- effective manner.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Provides set up and food preparation in accordance to standardized recipes.
- Obtains maximum food quality and quantity control in accordance with our guidelines and standard recipes.
- Complies with sanitation, safety, and customer service standards.
- Maintains effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- The primary purpose of the Cook position is to prepare quality food for Patient and Retail Services, in a timely, cost- effective manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in the preparation of foods from a grill in a high-volume setting required.
- National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection Certification is required or must obtain ServSafe Protection Certificate within first 6 to 12 months of employment and maintain throughout employment.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to read and understand recipes including culinary math.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and deadlines.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is TT1550: $ 20.36 – $20.87 - $21.48 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
