About the Role
The primary purpose of the Cardiovascular Technician position is to provide direct patient care, perform as a scrub person during Cath Lab procedures, perform hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring, assist in the preparation of the procedural room and set-up of table and equipment for procedures, under the direction and supervision of a Physician and Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular department.
- Act as a scrub person during Cath Lab procedures.
- Perform hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring during procedures.
- Assist with preparing the procedural room before procedures.
- Set up the table and equipment for Cath Lab procedures.
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Physician and Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or successful completion of the Cardiovascular Technologist Internship in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
- Experience must include:
- Cardiac hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring.
- Providing first-line sterile assistance during diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.
- CVT or RCVT certification highly desirable.
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required.

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)
The expected hourly range for this position is TT/2550:$37.55 - $39.19 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
