What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehabilitation Aide position at University Health - San Antonio?
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs routine tasks in the general care of patients and in the clinic. Assists the Physical, Occupational and Recreational therapists as well as Speech Language Pathologists in selected phases of patient treatment and in the general maintenance of the department, promoting optimum patient care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
One-year work experience in a patient care setting is required or equivalent education in a related field of study as approved by Rehabilitation management. Experience as a physical, occupational therapy or rehabilitation aide is preferred. Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider card.
Salary : $18 - $19
