We're looking for someone who’s great with people, quick with numbers, and happy to lend a hand where it’s needed. As our Cafeteria Cashier, you'll be the smiling face at the register and a key part of our daily meal service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ring up meals with a smile and keep the lunch line moving
- Accurately record transactions and handle cash (yep, you’ll be a money pro!)
- Make change like a champ and keep things balanced
- Jump in to help portion and serve food when needed
- Bring good vibes and great service to every customer interaction
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience handling cash (or rocking a register)
- Confidence using a calculator and basic math to prep deposits
- A current Food Handler’s Permit (from Kansas City, Independence, Jackson or Clay County) — or be ready to get one within 30 days
- A can-do attitude, team spirit, and strong communication skills
- You’re a multitasking master
- You love helping people and making someone’s day better
- You’re the kind of person who notices when someone needs a hand—and jumps in without being asked
