University City Housing is a Philadelphia-based property management company with significant real estate holdings in an around the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Our current portfolio consists of 4,000 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space.
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Design Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling and effective marketing materials that align with our brand identity and support our marketing campaigns. This role requires a blend of graphic design skills, marketing knowledge, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into engaging visual content. If you are flexible, outgoing, great at building relationships and ready for role where you ‘jump in’ – we are looking for you!
This full-time role emphasizes creativity, technical knowledge, and exceptional content creation skills . You will be an integral part of assisting the marketing team in the execution of marketing initiatives.
Job duties:
• Gathering photo and video content on an ongoing basis, including but not limited to real estate and employees.
• Working closely with marketing team and colleagues.
• Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
• Design visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with brand identity.
• Working with different content management systems.
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes.
• Ensuring online presence across multiple platforms conforms to brand standards.
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
• Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
• Testing and improving the design of the website.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
• Manage domain inventory and recommendations for the company.
• Social Media Management Experience a plus!
• Contributing to team efforts by assisting with other duties as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• 2-3 Years’ experience in marketing design.
• Real estate experience preferred.
• Demonstrable design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software.
• Professional photography and videography experience and portfolio.
• Good understanding of content management systems. WordPress experience is strongly preferred.
• A strong eye for visual composition.
• Creative and open to new ideas.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Team player able to collaborate with the marketing team to create design solutions that meet company objectives in an innovative and creative way
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Drone pilot experience a plus!
