Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: A Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect care through the application of the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care rendered. The nurse will address physical, psychosocial, educational, and rehabilitative needs of the patient and family.
Job Duties
Must posses a current RN license in the state of Georgia. Computer skill a must.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions Of Job
This position requires sitting, walking, some bending, stooping, and stretching to include lifting up to 25 pounds. There is the potential for exposure to communicable illness from contagious patients. There is extensive computer work, including viewing computer screens for long periods of time.

- Assesses and prioritizes patient's physiological and psychological needs, formulates patient care plans, and modifies as needed.
- Provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing evidence-based knowledge and skills.
- Observes, evaluates, and documents patient progress.
- Plans strategies for solving patient care problems with other patient care team members.
- Provides health-related education and counseling for patients and family members.
